COMEDK UGET 2025

COMEDK UGET 2021 - Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK 2021) will be held in the 2nd week of May 2021. COMEDK UGET is an undergraduate entrance test conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

This state level entrance test is a gateway to get admission into UG Engineering programme.

However, Admission into the Architecture Programme will be done based on NATA Scores. Candidates who successfully qualify for the examination by securing cut off marks will be eligible for admission to Karnataka-based engineering colleges. COMEDK UGET 2021 Application form will be released in the 3rd week of January 2021 on the official website of the conducting body i.e, www.comedk.org. The last date to apply for the exam will be till 3rd week of april 2021. Before filling out the application form, candidates need to register themselves. There are few steps involved in filling application form such as online registration, filling the application, uploading necessary documents and making application fee payment. Applicants shall be required to enter the details such as name of the Applicant, date of birth, email address, mobile number, etc. Candidates are advised to preview the application form before submitting it and fill the details correctly as there will be no correction allowed later.

The eligibility criteria for various programs has been mentioned below:

For UG Engineering Courses

• The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
• The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.
• Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

For UG Architecture Courses

• The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2.
• The candidates should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka)
• NATA Score is compulsory for admission in B.Arch Programme
• The candidates should have qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2020.
• Candidates interested only in Architecture course , need not fill the online application form for engineering entrance exam.

COMEDK UGET 2021 Exam Pattern

Below we have provided details related to COMEDK UGET exam pattern:

• Exam Mode: Computer based online Test.
• Paper Language: English language only
• Number & Type of Questions: The paper will contain a total of 180 MCQs.
• Exam Duration: The time to complete the exam will be 3 hours.
• Subjects: The paper will contain questions from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
• Total Marks: The exam will be of 180 marks with each section of 60 marks.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. Negative marking will not be done in the exam for incorrect answers.
